March, 2013

Yes, I'm officially the slowest blogger. Oh well, here's some pix from March. Better late than never, I guess!

Decisions, decisions...

Fishing won! Alex, Chelsea and I hit the Methow River for a day trip. Steelhead were not interested, but Alex got this nice bull trout.

The long trudge back to the car.

It feels good to get out of the waders!

Another trip to the Methow yielded some steelhead.

Ralph swinging a two-hander for the first time. South Thompson River on a coooold day. Only whitefish were willing this day.

The ice is receding on Sawmill Lake!

Sometimes things just don't work out the way one hopes. Nick doing a little flyline macramé...

There were a few midges hatching!

Itching to get the season started, the Tunkwa gang met at Tunkwa for a weekend in the receding snow.

It was sunny!

Bonny chillin'.
